The paper should be in essay format. Be sure to include an introduction that focuses your paper and a discussion and conclusion synthesizing and comparing important article findings and emphasizing key themes or points. 4. You can approach the literature review paper by detailing the topic via the literature you select and discuss in two ways: either article by article in a coherent pattern (consider how the content from each article relates, builds off of or contrasts with the other articles) or by carefully integrating the articles and information linked to your topic throughout the paper. Either way you need an introduction that provides a guide and a conclusion that synthesizes and/or compares what you learned. 5. You can include headers/subheaders within the paper linked to the concepts and the research you review. Headers are not required but work particularly well when you are integrating all of your research and sources. You can note Introduction and Conclusion sections, but any of the intermediate headers should refer to article content. For example, if you are examining an article with a lengthy title related to foster care placement and visitations in infancy, do not use the article title as a header. You could refer to this article with a briefer header such as Infant-Parent Separation and Visitation. 6. Be sure to include page numbers at the top of paper, right justified. You do not need to include the number on the title page. You should include a brief running header as well. If title is too long, then abbreviate using key terms. See APA video in BB folder if helpful. 7. Be sure to format citations and references according to APA style/format. See APA reminders document; there is also an APA tutorial link on Blackboard as well. You are welcome to email me as well with any specific APA questions. 8. Be sure to include a separate reference page also in APA format.
Please incorporate how it effects children also, this class is about family and children so would like to incorporate some of these into the paper
