Research paper on Bob Wills

Choose an American Composer from the 19th, 20th, or 21st centuries, and examine their life and compositional output. Discuss their biographical information including family history, childhood, education, performing careers, adulthood, and death (if applicable), as well as any other pertinent information that is relevant to their musical careers. Pick at least 2 specific compositions from within their body of work to explore, identifying interesting elements of the music, performance histories, or otherwise. You are welcome to choose a composer discussed in the text/readings, as long as you expand your well beyond what we’ve read as a part of the coursework.
This project should be done in research paper format, with visual examples of pictures, audio examples of music, and/or other items that are beneficial in aiding the delivery of information about your chosen subject. Audio examples can be inserted in the papers as hyperlinks to outside streaming sources such as youtube if needed. Your paper should be 6-8 pages in length (3000-4500 words) and contain at least 5 references that are documented in a Works Cited Page. Any direct quotations or other direct references contained within the paper MUST be properly cited (I do not have a preference as to whether you use APA or MLA format). Please refer to your syllabus regarding plagiarism and VVC’s policies regarding zero tolerance.
This project will be due Friday February 5, 2021.
