After reading the material listed please answers the following questions in an MS Word document using MLA format 300 words minimum:
7. What are purpose, stance, genre, and audience? Do any of these terms stand out to you as a writer? I.e., do you consider these concepts useful when writing or communicating? Why or why not?
8. Reflect on the academic habits of mind and select two for reflection: one that you feel is a personal strength and one that you’d like to develop. Explain your choices.
9. Please describe one personal takeaway (for example, a tip or strategy you came across) from the chapter on “Reading in Academic Contexts.”
10. Summarize the main ideas of “You Mean I Can Just Say it That Way?” and either support or question (i.e. challenge) one of those ideas. Use personal examples to illustrate your points.
