Do an analysis of the clinical literature regarding the mental health access and issues that clients contend with in attempting to access mental health care/ and or reasons that they avoid mental health care. What do they think or believe about mental health care. What are special concerns and considerations that you, as a potential provider would have to consider to ensure that you are providing appropriate as well as culturally competent care? What are key things that they believe, or key customs they value that a provider should know when dealing with those patients. You will need to examine several sources in the social work, psychology and psychiatry literature as well as nursing to ensure a reasonable presentation. Prep a handout for your peers with the key points. Please provide a brief handout of content with references that highlight what we all need to know when dealing with a client from that culture. Cite all your sources and do not use sources like Wikipedia, psychology today or any of those aggregator sources.
