In text Citation test

Instructions
You may want to return to Week Three and review the videos for creating in-text citations. Your job here is to pay attention ONLY to the citation to make sure that this citation is correct.
As a reminder (because this point was not addressed in the video at Week Four), when the author’s name is mentioned in the sentence, there is no need to include it again in the parentheses. You will find this explained and demonstrated for you in your Seagull handbook on p. 123, # 1 and #2. It is perfectly fine for you to use your handbook on this test.
In-Text Citatons EXAM

Directions: Assume that the page numbers provided are correct and that the quotes themselves are smoothly integrated and faithfully represent the primary text. Do not correct grammar or the quote itself. I am only looking for your corrections to the in-text citations.

1. Copy and paste the items below into a Microsoft Word file and save to your own computer. Work on that copy to submit to Assignments.

2. Use a different font color to make corrections to these items, if necessary.

3. You may use your Seagull handbook to help you.

4. Each in-text citation (parenthetical documentation) should follow MLA format.

5. Some items may be correct as they are written.

6. Do not correct the quotes (the brackets or ellipsis marks or anything at all) or any part of the sentence(s). Only correct the citation if it needs correction.

7. When completed, submit your Word file to “In-Text Citations Test” under Assignments.

8. The title of the essay is called “A Peaceful Woman Explains Why She Carries a Gun” and the author’s name is Linda Hasselstrom.
