China’s great famine

Finish my paper on China’s Great Famine that is already 2/3 done. Complete Section 3 and conclusion of my paper. I hope you will read my already written parts before you begin working on Section 3, just to get the flow and arguments of my paper. Section 3 and conclusion added together should be around 2,500 words, as I’ve already written around 4000 words for my intro, section 1 and 2. PLEASE cite your sources and include quotes in the essay.

Here’s my thesis: The Great Famine was caused almost entirely by the human miscalculations and misallocation of resources caused by Mao Zedong’s political ambitions and dysfunctional governmental structures in the PRC.

Section 3 overall points: 1. the structure of china’s government system: officials only answer to higher officials rather than its people. 2. the Anti-Rightist campaign, and how it led to the public being scared of the government, and eventually falsifying the grain production to avoid punishments. 3. a look into the damage the government structure did, and maybe a comparison of this with the Soviet Union governmental structure.

Conclusion: Conclude the paper in a nice sense, also would be nice if you can compare the causes of China’s famine to other famous famines that might also had man-made mistakes in them.
