Outline for book
This assignment is to create an ACTUAL picture book for children in order to teach tolerance. The book is intended for children from ages 5-9. You will need to select a topic for the book and begin doing research. You MUST do a google search and find at least 6 books that are related to your topic and give the title and explanation for each book. Where your topic can be similar, you must explain how you are going to create your book and how it will fill a void in this area.

You need to come up with at least 10 pages and it must address a societal issue that impacts children. Some topics could include anything that makes someone feel like “the other”– for example, a children who is different because of an allergy, a family unit, a disability, etc. Use this as an opportunity to learn more about the issue (since you will be required to list at least 5 resources for parents at the end of the book. Be creative.

For this outline assignment, you need to give your topic and the review of the 6 books that are related to your topic with the summary of each.
