Communication with another person is irreversible. Communication experts Adler et al ( 2016) state, “Words said, messages sent, and deeds done are irretrievable” (p. 14). For example, when a guy accidentally tells his girlfriend for the first time that he loves her, he can’t simply take back those words. One time, I was having an argument with my mother about my curfew. She told me to be in the house by midnight, but I didn’t arrive until after 1:00 a.m. The next morning, she told me I was grounded for the next two weeks and couldn’t go to my friend’s birthday party. I told her, “I hate you.” Still to this day, as a forty-year old man, my mom will still tell me about the time I told her those words, and she’ll have a mist in her eyes. Once words come out of our mouths and actions are taken, we can never fully reverse the effects.
Because I used the principle of irreversible as an example, you need to choose a different one.

Well perform paragraph:
Communication is an ongoing process, an event cannot be repeated. Communication experts Alder et al (2016) state’s “… But you should realize that the “same” words and behavior are different each time they are spoken or performed” (p.14). For example, when a coworker calls you lazy and you feel upset. When the same colleague repeats that same response but on another occasion you no longer feel the way you did when they first said it. Why? Because even if you use the same person in the same environment, you will keep changing and you cannot repeat the same conversation and get the same response. I always perceived myself as the social butterfly, quick to interact with people and keep conversations flowing. I remember telling a joke at work, “Why are there gates around cemeteries? Because people are dying to get in.” I told this joke to the day shift and received a good response. Later that evening, I repeated the same joke changing my tone making it slowly and steadily and received a different response, communication can be unrepeatable. Communication is not repeatable, because even if you say the same thing twice, the recipient will handle it in a different way the second time.
