If there was a reading that interested you, that could be a good starting point. If you let me know one, I might be able to suggest some topic.
But you could choose almost any issue we have touched on to do some more research into – for example
• Is it easier to read on paper than on the screen? What evidence to we have and what does it mean for web design?
• What colours work best for web design, and what do designers need to think about in choosing colours for backgrounds and text?
• what is the best strategy for designing a website to be displayed on both larger screens and on mobile devices?
• what do we know about how people read differently on the screen than they do on paper, and how is this important to designing effective digital documents or websites?
• what features could be added to digital documents – e.g., digital copies of academic articles from library databases – to increase their usefulness and use?
• what challenges do libraries or archives have in creating, preserving, or making available digital copies of documents?
These are just some suggestions, but if there is another topic that interests you, let me know and I might be able to come up with more suggestions.
