Description of the Context
The context of this address the stress response and how it can be used to help a person adapt to life experiences and
develop the skill of resilience. Strategies that we use to develop good mental health sometimes can be changing our perception of situations. Just the perception that stress is bad for you (according to the research) can be seen as the 15th cause of death.
Description of the Discussion Activity
The student learning outcomes for this activity are to: 1) review stress response 2) explain the relationship between ones perception of stress and the development of resilience
