A section (summary overall paper and the results) in discussion chapter
Please read this instruction carefully. Basically, in this project, I expect 9 pages of “summary of the current study” in the discussion chapter of a dissertation. So, you are expected to summarize fully written dissertation chapters from introduction to results of a dissertation in 9 pages. Thus, this project requires (a) basic literacy skills of statistics, (b) understanding the structure of a research paper, and (c) MUST have enough knowledge in policing studies.
The topic of the dissertation is “how to improve public satisfaction with the police”. In the 9 pages, you are expected to write:
Page 1 // you may gather readers’ interests by suggesting a general introduction of the need for a study for public satisfaction with the police.
Page 2 // summarise or restate the research topic, hypothesis, and research model.
Page 3 // Summarise about what is the data
Page 4 // Summarise variables (measures)
5~9 // summarise the results.
At the beginning of your work, I will upload the completed methods and results chapters, so, except for page 1, you need to summarise the uploaded material.
