Annotated bibliography

For this assignment, you are to write an annotated bibliography. You must select 2-16 articles written by different authors, and articles from the same publication (of the same date) may be used only twice. Your articles must come from financial publications only; for example, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, etc. You may not use articles or materials included, cited or referenced in our textbook. Each annotated bibliography/article will be worth up to 5 points to a maximum of 80 points. Click on “annotated bibliography” to obtain a 2-page set of guidelines for how to create an annotated bibliography. These guidelines will also serve as my rubric for grading the content of your submissions. Points will be deducted for edit errors.

Please note that (a) late submissions of this assignment will neither be accepted nor graded and (b) this is an individual assignment, not a group assignment or collaboration. Any entries contained in two or more student submissions will not be graded.

Find no more than two articles for each topic on which to write annotated bibliographies:

1. Supply and Demand

2. Demand and/or Price Elasticity; Consumer Purchasing Behavior

3. Production and Cost Analysis in the Short Run; Long Run

4. Perfect Competition and/or Monopolistic Competition; Cartels

5. Pricing Strategies; Measuring Macroeconomic Activity

6. The Role of Money in the Macro Economy;

7. International and Balance of Payments Issues in the Economy

8. Examine the impact of Apple Inc and/or Amazon on the U.S. Economy

Please use an online library/database resource or Google Scholar for each article, you find and annotate. Each of your annotations should resemble the example at the bottom of page 2 of the annotated bibliography guide, except that you will format your source notation per APA.

Again, you must find and use two articles for each topic that together will be worth up to 10 points (5 points for each article), depending on how well the annotated bibliography for each article is written. Remember, you must select articles written by different authors and you may not use a publication with the same publication date more than twice.

Lastly, you may submit as few as two (2) article bibliographies for one (1) topic or you may submit sixteen (16) article bibliographies for all eight (8) topics, and you must use headings to identify (by name) your article bibliographies by topic.
