1. The introduction of the company is good, gives clear understanding of what Nintendo is. For competitors I think it would be good to say which part of Nintendo the competing company’s contest the most. For sociocultural you could add how this benefits and affects nintendo as a company. I agree with what you said in your economics section, I mainly purchase Nintendo games that I played on my Nintendo DS, I think that that is a good strategy by Nintendo. I think including positives and negatives in all the environments is good, it helps eliminate any bias an author would have.
2. For your final paper I would connect your findings with the company’s functions or how it will benefit the company. For example, its obvious that people playing more video games is good for Nintendo, but maybe pointing out if it has increased sales or possibly increased people wanting to work for the company? That is just an example. I thought your resources provided great findings and that they are very beneficial for your analysis.
3. In the videogame industry the completion has alot going with it. How has the increase and expansion of new indie developers as well as large companies affected nintendo and how they operate? The timing of release of games also plays a major role in the success of companies like this, how does Nintendo decide when is the best to release their products when competing against many other titles?
