also my teacher had made us do a policy outline, so i have provided here my policy outline in which you NEED/ MUST incorporate into this FINAL analysis paper.
the policy outline is around the employment equity policy and the ableism population, that being said my paper has to do with this population and policy.

Critical Policy Analysis: Final Paper – Critical Policy Analysis – Value: 25%
The objective of this assignment is to examine a social policy issue of your choice. This is an
academic paper and as such must meet all academic conventions. The paper should
address:
1. What is the social problem being identified and what is the policy
response(s)?
2. What are the theoretical frameworks informing this issue and policies?
3. What are the links between this policy and practice?
4. Provide a policy analysis that clearly articulates a theoretical framework.
5. Provide recommendations based on this analysis such as policy alternative
strategies for practice or strategies for contesting the status quo.
The paper may be centered on a certain policy, regarding a social issue or a certain practice
setting that you’ve outlined in your policy paper outline. This policy assignment will be
graded on their capacity to apply theoretical frameworks as part of critical policy analysis,
the depth of understanding of the issues and policies, the understanding of the links
between policy and practice, the insights demonstrated in providing recommendations,
writing style and formatting.

Based on your analysis and critique, what do you suggest are the needed improvement in
current policies and programs if you found them inadequate: What goals should be set to
improve things?
What policy strategies can achieve these goals? Who should take responsibility for
improving things? What cost might be involved in your proposed strategy? Are they
justified by the benefits to be realized?
Are your recommendations implementable? What might go wrong with your solution?

Length: 5-8 pages (not including cover page, or reference page), double-spaced,
professional presentation, in APA format, including a cover page and reference list with
proper in-text referencing.
Must have citations from at least 2 textbooks and 2 other credible (peer-reviewed)
academic sources.
