Unfortunately, as we have seen over the past several months, some businesses have permanently closed. It is clear the pandemic has had a detrimental effect on the American economy. That said, there have been stories both locally and nationally, where organizations stepped up and helped others during such a difficult and trying time in our country. For this assignment you are to research a company that, in your opinion, has gone above and beyond to be a socially responsible citizen. This assignment can be any business industry, but you will identify the following: • Identify a local or national business that helped the community in which they operate during the pandemic. Give a description of the history of the company and the service/good that they provide (10 points). • Research and describe in detail with examples what the company did and outline how it benefits the various stakeholders (10 points). • Describe how or if stakeholders are negatively affected by the actions (5 points)? • Explain how, by providing examples, the community can support the business during this time (5 points). • Provide a summary of your thoughts on the organization and how they helped during the pandemic. Was it enough? Could more have been done? (10 points) Write the paper using Microsoft Word. The body of the paper should be at least 2 pages. Your paper should be in APA format (title page, TNR 12-point font, in-text citation, reference page, etc.).
