Female science researcher

In this project I would want each of you to consider a person who belongs to a minority and her or his impact on the field of expertise which gave this person world fame. Since majority of the scientists or famous people we know such a Newton, Mendel, Krebs, Watson and Crick etc.. I want you to search for a person from the country your parents or you may have come from or for a woman who became very famous and one prizes for the work she did in her field. This person may be an American but belong to one of the many ethnic groups living in the U.S. or may have migrated from one country to another where he or she became famous.
The Research Project should be done in a format of your choice but should be at least 4 pages not including the Title or reference pages. Make sure you choose one of the standard formats for your adnotation of references so that credit will be given to the papers, books, articles websites etc.. which you use. In the introduction I want you to provide the person who you have researched her or his name, country where this person came from country were he or she performed their work, field of expertise and what impact did the person have on the field prizes and titles received etc… Also why do you think the person is important and why did you choose this person.
Read about this person’s field of expertise her or his articles, papers, biography about her or his work and the impact she or he made in their field and write and discuss at least two sources which you read and in your own words provide as much details related to the works you read. Please support your discussion with quotes from the papers you read one’s you are discussing and others that may support your discussion. Also discuss why you chose such a person from such a field is it because this is what you are interested in or is this a field related to your major etc… Please include in your discussion what made this person famous what did this person achieve and receive for the work which she or he did.
In conclusion please discuss what impact this person would make on your life and how would this person help you become successful in your field. Would you use this person as someone that you would want to follow to succeed in your life, education or field of expertise?
