Final Paper Outline and References
Submit an outline and reference list for your Final Paper Assignment for your instructor to review. Review the complete guidelines in the Final Paper Directions in the syllabus.
The reason for the outline is to help you with your final paper. I understand that it will be a draft and will not have everything in it that you will put into your paper. Make sure you have each section (literature review, theoretical orientation, identity, moral development, intervention strategy, conclusion). Also, attach some of the references you will use.
Again, this assignment is merely to keep you on track and help you avoid procrastination. Take each section listed below and produce an outline (each section must have at least two components). An example would be:
Literature Review
High School Dropout
Identify Problem
Current rates in the United States
Impact on students future earnings
Reasons for dropping out
…and continue on in this fashion…
To receive all 10 points for the outline, it must be well organized and it must provide the professor with a clear understanding of the paper that will be completed. In addition, you must provide your preliminary reference list to the professor which is worth 5 points. The list must contain at least five references and be in APA format (this is worth 5 points: 3 points for appropriate articles and 2 points for proper APA formatting).
