I. Instructions
A. The writing assignment consists of three questions. Students should answer all three questions. The written response (answer) for Question 1 should be between 400 and 500 words (excluding question header).
B. The written response (answer) for the second and third questions should be between 300 and 400 words long for EACH of the two questions (excluding question header).
C. The leadership writing assignment is worth a total of 75 points. The answer to Question 1 is worth 35 points and the answers to each of the two other questions are worth 20 points for each question.
II. Requirements
A. The assignment should be three full pages of text (double-spaced) with in-text citations conforming to APA standards. A cover page and reference page should also be included. (The cover page and reference page are not included in the three pages of text). Business documents should adhere to APA format. However, you may exclude the APA requirement for an abstract and executive summary. Papers will be submitted via blackboard. The paper should use 12-point Calibri or Times New Roman style font, with one-inch margins.
B. This is a research paper. Students are expected to conduct research and document their research using proper APA in-text citations.
C. The paper will be graded on the following criteria: professional writing; content; proper grammar, spelling, punctuation; paper organization; APA formatting; proper use of in-text citations; and reference section. Papers must be submitted via Blackboard in a Microsoft Word document file.
D. Paper that are not submitted as a Microsoft Word document file (.docx) will receive a grade of zero 0.
E. Submit your assignment through Blackboard using the Turnitin assignment tool. Submissions will be screened using Turnitin’s anti-plagiarism software. Plagiarism will result in failure of the assignment and the potential for additional action based on university policy per the course syllabus.

For that manager, decide which of the manager’s positive task-oriented traits and positive/negative interpersonal attributes are or were strong, moderate or weak. Give an example of typical behavior of the manager for three of the person’s traits and three of their attributes. Which one trait and which one attribute are the person’s strongest and which ones (attribute and trait) are the person’s weakest?
Question 2. What does it take to be a successful leader? Give examples, explain your reasoning, and provide citations that support your opinion.
Question3. There are many leadership styles. Which style would best describe you? Explain why and give examples from your experiences that illustrate why you think that style best describes you. Provide citations that support your opinion.
