Write a 4 page double-spaced report about a film or TV show that portrays a theme of justice in the setting of a fictional or non-fictional story. You are to use the form of a film review to discuss the plot and how the plot treats a theme of justice, especially in relation to the ideas of justice we have explored. No sources are needed besides the film or show itself and our textbook. If you use a TV show, make sure you watch at least two full episodes and have an understanding of how the show examines and resolves (or doesn’t resolve) the issue of justice. The film you choose should relate to one of the major themes of our chapters concerning procedural versus substantive justice. Critique the film or show concerning how it treats justice in the context of an aspect of the judicial system we have reviewed in this course, such as lawyer education, lawyer practice, criminal justice, civil justice or appeals.

Examples of films or shows you could use might be those included in our course, such as To Kill a Mockingbird, Twelve Angry Men, Legally Blonde, The Insider, Reversal of Fortune, to name only a few.
