Milestone 4
Requirements
Students at Broward College are eligible for a free LinkedIn Learning account.
Register for a free WordPress site with Pantheon and set up WordPress. View the Pantheon Instructions before starting this milestone.
What to do…
Create a folder named ISM3054C-Milestone4 on your local drive. You will be taking screen shots and saving the screen shots into this folder. Ensure that each screen shot is numbered starting from 1. Screen shots MUST BE in .jpg or .png format. Word documents containing screen shots will not be accepted.

Save/download the certificate of Completion into the ISM3054C-Milestone4 folder.
Go to the Pantheon website and click the Get Started button.
Enter account details, then select Sign Up.
Select Create New Site.
For the “Create Your Pantheon Site” step, use your Broward College email username as the basis for your site name. ie. from the example BC email sseahawk@mail.broward.edu he username is sseahawk, which is what would be inputted under “Name Your Pantheon Site”. The Pantheon site text box on the right will autofill with that name to become https://dev-sseahawk.pantheonsite.io which will be the address used to access the site. NOTE: DO NOT name your site sseahawk, that is only an example. Use your own email.
Take a screen shot and save the screen shot as 1-Create-Site in the folder named ISM3054C-Milestone4.
Select Continue.
Select WordPress Deploy.
Wait for the deploy to complete.
Select Visit your Pantheon Site Dashboard.
Select Site Admin.
Select Continue.
Enter the title of your site from Milestone 1.
Enter your BC email name (eg. sseahawk) followed by -admin as the Username. (sseahawk-admin)
Enter a strong password. Do not reuse an existing password as the instructor will need to know the password in order to grade this and subsequent milestones.
Take a screenshot and save the screenshot as 2-WordPress-Admin into the folder named ISM3054C-Milestone4.
Make a note of the username and password as you will need the credentials for this and later milestones.
Select Install WordPress.
Select Log In.
Enter username and password, then select Log In.
Take a screenshot of the WordPress Dashboard. Save the screenshot as 3-WordPress-Dashboard into the folder named ISM3054C-Milestone4.
In the WordPress Dashboard, hover over Plugins and select Add New.
Enter All-in-One WP Migration in the Search Plugins field.
Click Install Now next to All-in-One WP Migration and then once installed, click Activate.
In the WordPress Dashboard, hover over All-in-One WP Migration and select Export.
Expand Export To.
Click File.
Once the export is complete, a Download button will show. Click the button.
A file (ending in .wpress) will be downloaded. Move the downloaded file to the folder named ISM3054C-Milestone4.
Take a screenshot of the All-in-One WP Migration Export Site page. Save the screenshot as 4-Backup-WorkPress into the folder named ISM3054C-Milestone4.
View and take a screenshot of the Dashboard → Home page. Save the screenshot as 5-WordPress-Home into the ISM3054C-Milestone4 folder.
