Overview
For this assignment, you will write two documents:
A memo on Teamwork & Collaboration on Projects (especially written projects)
A memo on Giving Peer Feedback (particularly about a peer’s documents)
Using the materials assigned for this class, you will work to write two 1-page, single-spaced memos. You can imagine your audience as other students in this class and future sections of this class who may need help with collaborating and providing peer review. Your memos, then, will consist of advice and guidelines for your classmates. Use this Memo Writing Sample

for both content guideline and formatting.
When your write the memos consider:
What the assigned course materials say about teamwork, collaboration, and peer feedback.
Your own experiences with teamwork, collaboration, and peer review. If you had successful teamwork, what helped this happen? If you had negative experiences with teamwork, then in hindsight, what would you have done differently?
What your classmates say in discussion posts and in feedback to you.
Your audience. Think about who your audience is, their expectations, what they need from each memo, how they might read each memo, how they might use each memo.
NOTE: When you write your memos, you can quote selectively from sources, but don’t over-do direct quotations from your sources. Rather, paraphrasing in your own words might be more effective.
Assignment Guidelines
Each of these documents should be around 1 page, single-spaced, for a total of two pages.
Both documents should be in the form of a memo, with appropriate formatting.
You should include appropriate citations when using information from sources. Any recognized citation style (MLA, APA, etc.) is acceptable for this assignment.
Submission Checklist
A memo report that provides guidelines for teamwork/collaboration (1 page).
A memo report that provides guidelines for giving peer feedback (1 page).
