Introduction

Closing the loop is the analytical component that is the end of the assessment process. This leads to making decisions and recommendations based on the performance data gleaned from both the assessment process and the practices that have been established. In order to share these results with key stakeholders, you must be able to organize and present the results in an organized and easy to read fashion.

Activity Instructions

Use the provided outcomes assessment example report that was used in this week’s discussion from the international academy of commerce and business enterprise. Then, develop a presentation (using PowerPoint, Prezi, or other electronic presentation method) to summarize the data results, including the following:

Context: Briefly describe what was assessed and why, when, how, with whom, by whom, etc.
Issues: Summarize 2-3 key issues that you identified as needing further action (as exposed through the data analysis), and then identify 2-3 key research findings from other studies or data collection methods (or published articles) that comment on your own data and results. For example, these 2-3 key research findings might corroborate the conclusions you are making or might present actionable responses to issues uncovered.
Limitations: Identify and critique 2-3 limitations of the data. Propose 2-3 actions to address specific issues and limitations.
Conclusion: What are the main conclusions we can draw from the data and how will they inform changes to courses, programs, or other institutional domains? Minimum: 3-5 slides, including at least two specific examples from the data.
Alignment: How is the mission and vision of the course, program, institution, etc being met/not met based on these conclusions?
