Presentation speech writing and making powerpoint
MY Instruction:
Can you please help me write a 900 word speech on the article so that I can read it in front of class, and can you please help me make a presentation powerpoint for it.

Professor Instruction:
For your presentation choose a newspaper or magazine article on the topic of plastics, food waste or alternative energy (solar, wind, geothermal or hydropower).
For example, if you choose plastics, the article could be about research being done by scientists or communities to recycle and or reuse these materials. You can also report on papers that discuss the development of plastics that are biodegradable. Another idea is to report on the issue of plastics on the environment.
In regards to food waste, find a paper on what’s being done to reduce food waste. Can food waste be used for other purposes? What is the environmental impact of food waste?
If you choose alternative energy, you want to go into how electricity is generated? What are the pros and cons? What are the recent developments and/or improvements?
Presentations should be about 5-7 minutes plus one minute for questions. During your presentation, you should indicate the topic, the name of the article, the author of the paper and where you found the article. Summarize the findings of the article. Answer the basic questions such as Who, What, When, Where and How? Indicate your position on the issue. How do you feel about it? How might this affect you? How might it affect others?
Make sure you have references. References should include the article you’ll be talking about it and at least two others.
