you can use two sources from the BMCC Library website (https://www.bmcc.cuny.edu/library/find/databases-by-subject/) in relation to it. You could, for example, find out about the author’s life, the time/society in which he or she lived, or what literary critics have to say about the work. You could also explore one or more issues dealt with in that work. Then, I’d like you to apply whatever you found to an essay that makes a particular point (or, in other words, contains a thesis) of your choosing in relation to that piece or those pieces (it should not be just a biography, in other words), uses MLA format, and contains a Works Cited list at the end following that format. If you absolutely can’t find anything, or all three sources, through the BMCC Library website, you may use other research sources you’ve found online; however, these should not be someone’s blog posting but, rather, essays and articles that editors and colleagues have edited and reviewed. Please don’t use Wikipedia because the material on it can be submitted or changed by anyone at any time.
